Argentina, at the far right. The national scenario after the 2023 PASO

Abstract

The following article corresponds to a critical reflection on the PASO elections of August 2023 in Argentina. According to the author, the elections indicate a demand for the recomposition of the social order, which is expressed as a rejection of the inflationary decomposition of the currency. Likewise, he will point out that the possibility of the extreme right reaching the presidency is based on this decomposition, which is expressed politically within Unión por la Patria and Juntos por el Cambio as disorder and confrontation between the different fractions that make up the coalitions. The basis of this situation is the crisis of exploitation and domination, which does not translate into a crisis of legitimacy.
