The article reviews some Marxist contributions of the last two decades and focuses on the themetic continuity and changes produced in Marxist literature over the course of the last twenty years. It argues the hypothesis that, despite the decline of the revolutionary perspective, one can observe a relative continuity. It proposes an explanation for the presence of more continuity than discontinuity among Marxisms at the turn of the century and those of the decade of the sixties, and emphasizes some of the themes, traits or characteristics of contemporary Marxisms.
