Contrary to what many analysts argue, the author considers that globalization is entering a difficult situation that can be described as a spectacular failure. The deep slowdown of the world economy and the recessions in the various economic powers probably herald what some specialists already foresee as “the end of globalization”: there are no more “Asian dragons”, no US boom and no emerging markets. Today we are witnessing an acute crisis of debt and capital investment on a planetary scale that fills the world market with uncertainty.
