Jordi Maiso presents his book Desde la vida dañada. La teoría crítica de Theodor W. Adorno (2022), his first work published by Siglo XXI (Spain). Author of Elementos para la reapropiación de la Teoría Crítica de Theodor W. Adorno (2010), among other works, and director of Constelaciones. Revista de Teoría Crítica, the author here offers a journey through the critical theory of the German philosopher and sociologist Theodor W. Adorno, centered mainly on the concept of damaged life. Throughout the book, this idea of damaged life appears as the articulating axis of the philosopher’s thought, making it possible to identify the point of encounter between an implacable social system and the individual biographies of persons.
