In this text Robert Kurz introduces us to his latest work, the one in which he tries to continue his deepening of Marx's critique of political economy with a new reformulation. To do so, he will show us how, until now, the critique of political economy has remained prey to some of the less critical, or directly uncritical, elements of Marx himself, and this has given rise to certain developments that we know today as vulgar or traditional Marxism. At the same time, the straitjacket imposed by some of the new interpretations, especially in philological terms, has also prevented a re-appropriation and re-actualisation of Marxian approaches in line with the present times. For this reason, in this introduction Kurz will try to outline briefly what he is going to develop throughout a book that is essential to read in its entirety.
