This dossier holds special relevance and meaning for us; its call was conceived out of an embodied concern. We are interested in opening lines of dialogue with those who are seeking to put into words and shed light on the conditions of radical devastation of life in those spaces and times where the damage to this earth—wounded by the incessant logic of capital accumulation, with its colonial and patriarchal features—has been concentrated and intensified in post-pandemic contexts, in the face of neoliberal decline and ongoing wars. In particular, the call sought to create conditions for listening and to build bridges and possibilities for dialogue among the various efforts of conceptualization and analysis being produced around the dynamics of sacrifice that have unfolded on the bodies-territories subalternized by incessant accumulation since the second half of the twentieth century.
