Abstract

The present text presents a micro-social view to the affective phenomena where rumors and gossip, addressed as perverse discourses in this article, are oriented to regulate the life of the inhabitants. The reality of the subjects and the analysis of their behaviors related to the predominant discourses, emphasize their social function in the tenor of being used as invisible forms of control of the daily life, likewise, are subtle relations that violate the subjectivities of these persons, modify the identity of the other and lead to affective conjunctures. This plot of affection and perverse discursiveness develops itself in a context of transnational migration where dense relations and close social ties are the ideal scenario for the presentation of abject lives.
