Power from above and power from below. Violence, dignity and the October uprising

In this essay, a brief reflection is made on the events related to the October 2019 uprising in Ecuador. A brief context of the mobilization is presented and they trace some facts and their meanings in relation to power, plurinationality, and a political capacity of self-determination that emerged during the days of mobilization, as a social power that confronted and vetoed the power of the State and economic groups.
