In this brief review, I wish to convey some of the jolts that reading Ziranda provoked in me and to invite readers to follow two movements of thought along which the text guided my feelings and reflections. Both bear a title: the first is called “From the anesthetization of the soul to imposed death”, while the second is entitled “From imposed death to baroque (re)existence”.
