Contemporary cities are increasingly shaped by an overlap between virtual and real. The use of platforms, the enormous collection of data and the development of tools such as the cloud or artificial intelligence do not simply extend the possibilities for action in cities, rather they change the characteristics and extent of urban spaces. At the same time, new subjects are produced who pursue an idea of individual enterprise thanks to digital technologies and the valorisation of cities. However, are these processes smooth and straightforward, or do they encounter resistances, breaks, counter-conducts?
