The city has gradually become one of the main geographical scales of our present. As both a spatial and a social entity, cities are the result of the superimposition and interaction of norms, flows, infrastructures and subjects. It is precisely in urban spaces that contemporary forms of circulation and production develop and intertwine, making them the place where the great operations of capital are territorialized. While urbanization reaches a planetary scale, digital technologies enable immediate connectivity between physically distant spaces, as well as the informatization of every aspect of our lives.
