Abstract

This article, based on the shared time and reflection with the women of OIDHO (Indian Organizations for Human Rights in Oaxaca), describes the relationship between women in families and communities and how this relationship is transformed through the “women-only” organizational spaces, highlighting both their enormous importance and capacity for transformation, as well as their limits and difficulties to overcome.
