Abstract

This dossier was organized out of an interest in bringing into dialogue different works that critically address the problems of violence across a diversity of scenarios and regions, and with a diversity of actors. For several years there has been a significant emergence of studies of violence in Latin America, which have shown how violence has traversed various unconventional scenarios compared with the armed and state violence of previous decades.
