This paper is part of a broader research project that took place at the Universidad Iberoamericana, in which the importance that scientific research leaders give to social relations as a fundamental axis of scientific production is recovered. The topics we obtain as results, such as the labor problems faced by young researchers in the country emerged, of which we recover in this work two experiences of young researchers in natural and social sciences who share their strategies to survive in this complex current of being young and looking for a permanent job in Mexico. The research methodology is centered on the proposal of Roy Wagner (1981), Strathern (1988) and Magazine (2015) who emphasize the recovery of ethnographic work where we seek to understand what our informants have built in their worlds, in their own terms, so that the recovery of the ethnographic data from different research instruments seeks to clarify the meaning that the informants give to reality, that is, to account for how they perceive and live the reality of the labor field as young scientists for with it, to be more aware of the degree to which our theoretical and interpretive tools, often imprisoned in a unilateral cultural coordinate, limit us when trying to understand the world that is created and transformed.
