Abstract

The fourth volume of Open Marxism (OM) expresses in its subtitle, “Against a Closing World,” perhaps one of the most important attitudes of this tradition: the word “against” by itself places at the center the watchword of refusal that, from the outset of the debates raised by its contributors, set the tone for a way of thinking determined to penetrate Marx’s categories and open them up with the most genuine intention of establishing a powerful anticapitalist critique that contributes to the transformation of the world.
