The article looks at the differences between a politics of poverty and a politics of dignity in relation to the political changes in the Americas (the so-called Pink Tide). The article suggests that a politics of dignity implies a direct critique of epistemological categories and argues for looking for more dialogical options, a politics that starts from the subjects.
