Oaxaca amid dialectical prefigurations of redemption: Conceptual problems of violence and metaphysics of hope

In recent years Oaxaca has shown that living utopian prefigurations of the desire of another reality, thinking a world other than the sentence of poverty and hunger naturalized in the discourses of the market, stands against the capitalist conditions which crush our time: the violence of the anti-Christ continues to triumph, as Walter Benjamin puts it in his theses on the Concept of History (Thesis IV). Thus we can say that in this millennium when hopes are weakened or extinguished, Oaxaca showed in 2006, paradoxically, that contained in the structural violence there are also illusions of freedom split by material interests and ontologised in the categories of the truth and falsehood of the violence of the market.
