When speaking of globalization, the term neoliberalism comes to mind instantly because of the economic, political and historical ties between them. Today most European governments avoid the term neoliberalism, which has become derogatory because of the serious social consequences its policies have had on that continent. To understand the nature of neoliberalism it is essential to look into the recent history of European social movements.
