Abstract

Many cycles are closing, in Mexico and the world. The end of the Mexican political regime and the American empire coincide with and anticipate the end of capitalism and the modern era. This could be the foundation for an unprecedented authoritarian regime, using the fear, chaos and uncertainty of the transition. It is necessary to intensify the struggle to prevent such a perspective and advance in the construction of the new world. If the workers created the crisis, as it is suggested in this essay, they will also be able to solve it in their terms.
