Abstract

Introduction to issue 14 of Bajo el Volcán, devoted to the global capitalist crisis. The issue brings together reflections on crisis as hope, the Greek revolt of December 2008, socio-environmental struggles in Latin America and Mexico, the multidimensional crisis and world hegemony, the responses of the left, the role of the State and the situation in Mexico, as well as two book reviews.
