Introduction to issue 17 of Bajo el Volcán, divided into two parts. The first, “Honduras: resistance and authoritarianism”, is devoted to the Honduran political process after the coup d’état of June 28, 2009, which overthrew President José Manuel Zelaya, and includes articles and interviews with members of the National Popular Resistance Front. The second brings together works of critical theory on human rights in Chile and Guatemala, technique in Lenin’s thought and the Latin American left, as well as three book reviews.
