Abstract

This text is a reflection based on a theoretical and methodological reading of regulation theory (RT) in relation to the problem of industrial development in the state of Tlaxcala. Although there are several approaches from which the data can be read, we sought to explain the socio-historical process of capitalism in one of the most important settlements in the state, the so-called Ciudad Industrial Xicoténcatl (CIX), using RT as an analytical tool, and in particular to show how conditions of labour flexibility are nothing but a new form of capital accumulation.
