Among the few photographs I keep from the late 1960s, I have always been fond of one taken in a house in the Colonia Federal in Mexico City, where the members of Cráter, still linked to the Guatemalan revolutionary movement, lived. In it I stand before three posters that were very meaningful to me of what those years of dreams and blood left me: Che, Turcios Lima and Cohn-Bendit. Starting from this memory, the author reflects on the lessons of the 1968 movement for his generation.
