Abstract

After a brief chronicle of the events of 2006 in Oaxaca, the article analyzes and interprets the nature and characteristics of the Popular Assembly of the Peoples of Oaxaca (APPO). In particular, it examines the various democratic struggles that converge in this movement of movements.
