The present article proposes elements for an assessment of the six years of struggle in Bolivia before the occupation of the state structure by the MAS in 2006. The indigenous movements are the fundamental axis of the struggles and within these it is particularly important to evaluate the experience of the Jacha Omasuyos between 2000 and 2003.
