In the context of the post-electoral struggle and the rise of the APPO in Oaxaca, this article explores the mobilisation of discourses or representations concerning dissident groups in Mexico that seek to achieve a double ideological effect: to delegitimate their demands and create a sentiment of social isolation. The article proposes a different interpretation of these forms of discontent that takes seriously the stories, actions and moral contents of the demands that have arisen “from below”.
