Abstract

Over the years, Zapatismo, as a social movement of resistance and as a proposal of political elaboration, has evolved through successes and mistakes, achievements and failures, in which its—intentionally inorganic—link with the vast and heterogeneous set of social struggles of our time is perhaps the main explanatory axis. It is becoming clear that the Zapatista bet on a world where many worlds fit is only possible if it expresses the concrete searches of those below, beyond the EZLN itself and its support bases. This seems to be the idea behind the call of the Sixth Declaration and its extension in the Other Campaign.
