Abstract

In the following pages I outline some ideas seeking to clarify two questions that I consider relevant and that have been emphasized both in the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle and in the documents on the organization of the Other Campaign. The first is what it means to promote “another way of doing politics”, and the second concerns who should carry out the Other Campaign and how. I present my ideas not as finished answers but as an inquiry into possible arguments that open new questions and point to possible problems.
