Abstract

Why do we want to study sociology? Not to analyze the world but to change it. A negative relationship with the present world is the starting point. Negativity is the basis of a vision of science as critique. The study of sociology cannot be separated from power, but there are two kinds of power: the power of capital and the anti-power of humanity. In this antagonism we have to take sides.
