This text is situated in the discussion of gender studies about the nature of masculinity, understood as a series of attributes that distinguish man from woman and that are manifested in all areas of the social sphere. It reflects on the biologistic postures and contructivist perspectives developed through studies of a sociological or anthropological orientation and some some psychoanalytic points of view that limit or favor one sector by means of a sexual pact.
