This text proposes an argument for the development of a new political discourse founded on two basic coordinates: communal spaces and communities. These types of experiences are inseparable from the learning practices of direct democracy and horizontality. It is argued that the identification of communal spaces and communities as the strategic horizon for a new political discourse emerge from the practices of the present transnational movement for global justice and solidarity.
