Abstract

John Holloway’s book Change the World Without Taking Power, co-published by Editorial Herramienta and the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, has recently appeared. Because of its controversial nature, and because it perhaps expresses the feelings of broad sectors that challenge the world as it currently exists, the book is bound to arouse great interest, not only in academia but also in social movements. It is the fruit of long and intensive research that critically surveys the high points of Marxist thought. The author reflects on the book’s contribution to rethinking revolution and Marxism.
